Once delivered to the site the construction is much faster, sometimes a matter of a few days until the dry inside work can begin.
Modular Homes
Modular homes are built in a factory with everything including the electrical,plumbing and interior walls in place. Each module must be able able to be shipped by highway. Once shipped to the site and assembled they look like a site built home. Computer design has now made it possible to produce custom designs in the factory.
Panelized Homes
Panelized Homes are a cross between Modular and site built homes. The factory uses your plan to build the wall panels in the factory and ship them to the site. Once there they are assembled on the foundation, exterior finish is applied and the roof trusses installed. The panels do not require any special equipment since they can be handled and assembled by a crew rather than a crane.
